There is a lot of cross over between scene, emo, goth and even punk. Punk clothing is more scene though. A lot of plus size emos are using the plus size corsets that are from the goth fashion statements. Tripp clothing and alternative clothing mixes well with goth, so go for it.

I have seen a lot of men goth corsets lately and I think that is it great. They go well with the goth coats and gothic costumes in general.

For flashy goth girls, the gothic underbust corsets rock. Nothing better than waist cinchers or waspies. You have to get a corset for goth that is tight-lacing or the effect will not work. Sometimes the overbust corsets will be suitable for a goth girl.

For the goth vampire look, get a gothic corset that a waist cincher that has clasp made from metal. For dressing up, wear a corset that has lace and bows of black satin weaved into it ( the boning should be very flexible ).

There a few corsets for the goth subculture that are similar, the black brocade corset that is supported by the underbust and the black floral gothic corset . One of them has a metal clasp and the other one has a clasp that is silver in nature.

For a gothic corset, faux leather or PVC that is black and shiny is best. Leather does not breath as much. For those that like PVC and that are conservative goth, try on a black satin closed underbust corset that is gothic. The front of this corset is covered and hides that goth body for you.
